craftspeople use a painstaking hand-finishing technique.
It's a procedure that has been developed over the
last half-century and involves many steps: fine
hand-sanding of the topcoat; rubbing with fine steel wool;
a hand application of paste wax; and finally, a hand
buffing to create a rich patina.
In addition to
its wide selection of standard wood finishes, Wood-Mode also can customize colors to match any decor. This
means that no Wood-Mode color or finish ever becomes
obsolete. Discontinued finishes can be reproduced, even
after decades have passed.
